Mac vs PC?
Remember this hilarious commercial?

The Mac vs PC debate was fun to watch back then, but now that I'm caught in the agonising transition from using a PC to a Mac... well let's just say it's hard to laugh when you're internally haemorrhaging from the stress.

To start the bitching session off on an even, neutral footing, lets keep in mind that I have been a PC (Microsoft. Microsoft, damnit, why the fuck did the commercial have to harp on about PC vs Mac? That's like saying TV vs Viera, for fuck's sake) user all my life, and the Macbook Pro I'm using belongs to my dad. My 3 year old Acer Aspire netbook has been giving me grief with its lags, which is entirely my fault because I didn't update many of the programs I installed over the years... and not clean up after the many other programs I never bothered to use... blablabla what's done is done and there's no use crying over spilt milk.

Ahem. So yeah. I might have just the teeniest weensiest preference for Microsoft to start off with.

Even so, I was excited to learn how to use the Macbook Pro. At first. I quickly learned that it is not as user friendly as Apple (and many of their consumers) repeatedly go on about. The simplest example I can give is Safari's inability to comply with my basest desire to maximise a window without having to drag a corner- and even then, it appears I can't pull it down low enough to cover the bottow apps icon. That's okay though, at least I managed to cover 4/5 of my screen now. The thing I can't stand though, is the fact I had to google 'how to maximise' and get a shitty answer from Mac support like, 'no wasted screen space with Mac \(^.^  )/' (source: http://www.macyourself.com/2011/02/06/why-doesnt-mac-os-xs-green-zoom-button-maximize-windows/).

Fer flyin' fuck's sake, yeh gotta be shittin' me! Maximise when I want you to, and be done with! There are many other minor issues I have (shortcuts, programs, where my files are, that download finder thing gets annoying quickly as well) that accumulate into a gastric pain. I wanted to try gaming on the Macbook as well but apparently it's not as gamer-friendly as it should be, but that's not such a big deal to me seeing as how I'm used to netbooks and their fondness for crashing (all them open windows using up the RAM and shite).

On a personal note, this Mac is hardwired with my dad's security settings so I can't exactly tamper with it without blowing something up. And I can't exactly reformat it either because he still has a few of his projects here. Ugh. I need to clean this place up and make it MINE. We'll start by replacing that galaxy wallpaper with something more Sakinah-like.

Like this.
Sexy hips.

So yeah. Mac vs Microsoft? We'll opt for the more comfortable, familiar, and clunky Microsoft. This verdict is brought to you by the girl with the glasses typing on her Macbook.

On another note, I need to finish reading Les Miserables. 90 pages more and I am done! I want to hurry up and finish so I can mull over my next pick of reads. It'll be a close battle between Crime and Punishment, Kokoro, or a A Farewell to Arms. Better yet, we'll buy a new book between now and then and add that to our reading frenzy!

Good evening New York
My body processes drugs in such ways that causes severe chemical dumping to my brain and now my hands are shaking and I'm hearing voices that shouldn't be here (I mean, not that I don't hear voices in my head on a regular basis but usually I can draw a lucid line between reality and the imaginary but not this time around) so I guess I'm just here to rant.

SOOOOOO ANYWAY gaiz I le failed my competency test. Twice. What a failure. And yet, even when felled to our knees with our heads bowed ne'er let the heat of passion leave our body, but instead allow the embers to disperse deeper into our souls, and we shall burn, burn, burn and die from the flames of love's embrace. Ahahahhaha, what? What was that? I told you I'm crazy at the moment, hhahahaha. The cons department are kind enough to give us one last chance with an open book test, so I still have another shot at redeeming myself. Still trying to figure out where I went wrong with the viva questions, though (hahahha, denial much?). I don't even know why I want to do dentistry so much. It's probably because I can't imagine doing anything else for a career. Or rather, I don't think people (specifically relatives and close family members) can imagine seeing me do anything else. I'm a passive person by nature, I follow the path of least resistance, and doing whatever people expect of me seems to be the easiest way to get things my way. Paradoxical, perhaps, but it is in the inconsistency that I find comfort, the rush of blood to the head in knowing that things are not what they seem to be, and the knowledge of that puts me to rest.

Aaaaaand surprise, surprise, I've been a social butterfly these days. Thanks to a quartet mishmash of Polish and Egyptian girls, I've been forced to peek out from my solitary chrysalis to become a tour guide of sorts. I'm not a very responsible tour guide though because I just dumped the two Egyptian girls on a quest to find Times Square from KLCC. The usual route to TS would definitely be KL Sentral ---> walk a bit ---> transit to Jln Imbi ---> walk a bit more---> TS. Hahhahhahaha, God knows how they're getting there. And there is that acid splasher case still out in the open. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

Hey people!!!! MY BRAIN JUST TOLD ME THAT THE EARTH IS NOT ROUND IT IS NOT OVAL IT IS SHAPED LIKE AN EGG. AN. EGG. WE ARE CHICKENS WITHOUT WINGS PEOPLE, WE ARE THE FALLEN ANGELS!

On other news, dad was watching Pearly Harbour earlier today and- screw you spell checker, I follow the Queen's bloody English, so harbour is spelled with a fucking U- and well, a thought just popped into my head about the US and revenge. Nagasaki and Hiroshima. War on terrorism. The US seems to like methods of revenge that causes their enemies to suffer in the long run, and on insanely huge scales of mass destruction. Apparently there are such things as 'ethical justification' on the atomic bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima. If I were to talk about 'ethical justification' on the Nazi massacre of European Jews, I am pretty sure that would send some pretty heads roaring out loud, but that is precisely how ridiculous that line sounded to me. Ethical justification of blood and prejudice. And there are so-called scholars debating on this? Hah.

Honestly, at times, it seems that the academia world is lost for good. It could get so caught up in itself that it forgets about truth. I was going to add God, but then I remembered the atheist scientists.

I want to eat fish.

fanart rant
A toast, to BROTHERS.

...ugh, posting the same doodle on another site shames me, but this is the only way to make sure that there is no discrimination, to say that this post was written objectively. this post is not a hate-anything post, but rather another one of my confused-so-much post, because this doodle is proof that i too draw fanart. it's the first one i've done in years- a proper one that is, not the sora orange waving bananas shite. ah sheesh, and the amount of inner fighting that went about just to get around drawing it is pathetically insane. not even cool insane, which makes it all the more sad.

alright, let me get some groundwork first. loads of people watch anime/read manga, yes? and among the fans there are those who wish to reproduce their beloved characters/setting through various means; cosplay, fanart, rp, fanfics, what-have-you. cool and dandy, really, because it's a pretty lovely way to show your love for the stuff in my honest opinion, and man, some of them have colourful rainbow chocolate scented fairy sparkle talent flowing through them because the stuff they make is amazing. the things they touch becomes a great contribution to the fandom (a kingdom of fans so to speak; it's where fans share their fanstuffs and do their phemphem-ing ), yet still remain distinctively theirs. but remember we're talking about loads of people here and they're each different with unique tastes and individuality. sometimes their unique taste can be a bit... overbearing. doesn't help my case much that anime/manga offers a shitload of fanservice. either that or you can just throw in a sprinkle of over-imaginative phemphems and the perversion pretty much works its own way from there.

the fan industry is what supports the anime/manga industry. young (or not so young) children clamour for the latest Naruto release just as much as the fujoshi wants her latest hertz issue, some want action, some want tragedy; it's a classic case of supply and demand. i don't know if this is just a trend but current shounen manga usually have romance in it as well action and destruction, hence making the story more appealing to a wider audience. but the authors have storyboard and group demographic to target at, and they can't possibly cater to the demands of all types of fan. this is where fan community come in handy. they each come together and satisfy each others' demands, fulfilling in requests of any kind. mostly, the perverted kind. i'm not going to pretend i'm a saint at this point of venture (some are pretty hot, even), but i hate it when the characters are mangled and twisted to perform unrealistic feats far beyond their natural perimeters just for the sake of lust. case in point; using your original character (that is in some way a representation of yourself) making out with a chaste shounen jump hero. or a teenage mutant ninja turtle for that matter. i mean it's just...how self-absorbed can you get?

fanstuff isn't something that you can easily hide from. try google for a particular anime just to get its synopsis and it is highly likely that some fanstuff will jump at you. i usually sift my way through fanstuff carefully. very, carefully. bad fanarts (read: crappy pairings) are pretty easy to evade, although sometimes the art is just so goshdarn good that one can't help but feel the attraction. after the spell washes away and everything is torn down back to its original roots, i can't help but feel the biggest UGH for having momentarily supported such a ridiculous pairing. in the case of FMAs' Nightingale series however, it's pretty much a rinse and repeat process because the art is just so goshdarn gorgeous. that has always been a problem with me, the conflict of interest in the art and unmasked disdain for ooc fanstuff (and a tinge of perversion on my part? damn this phemphem heart of mine!). and now there's a One Piece fancomic by kyuugou (ninekoks circle) with Ace. it says here that there is no pairing, as it is mostly Ace-related stuff, but hoooooooow can i trust that phemphem heart not to 'accidentally' mix up a friendly brush to the shoulder with a silently burning flame of passion?....

haa....haa... i think i'm overthinking things. must be getting paranoid.

in the end, fanstuffs mean a lot to the fandom. it can act as a kind of popularity gauge, it encourages strangers to get to know each other under a single common interest, it stimulates the imagination and gets creative juices to flow by borrowing a ready-made background story and developing the characters purely on your own interest. admittedly, that last bit of the final point there is the part that i'm having a problem with regading the entire fandom issue. but just as much as there are fanstuff suited to another phemphems' taste, there is sure to be some fanstuff that suits mine. or i can just ignore everything entirely and just stick to canon.

it's a good day

Today is a great day for bawling.

Watched Harry Potter DH: Part 2. The movie was alright overall, couldn't help but continuously draw comparisons between the book and the movie, leaving me feeling unsatisfied. But still, there were plenty of tear-jerker moments. There were quite a few people crying out loud in the theatre, and the guy next to me wiped his glasses a few times. Definitely trying to keep his macho. I was going to cry at the Weasley scene, but the cinema was too cold and I was spending too much energy just shivering and trying to keep warm. Hahaha...yeah. Deathly Hallows is definitely one of the better Harry Potter films. Anybody wanting a real good story should still read the book instead of the films though.

Snape. Just ;___; His conversation with Dumbledore about Lily was ace. Beautifully written, and wonderfully executed. Not to mention Alan Rickman wears that black dress so well.

Then I read a USUK doujin; From the New World With Love. Good God. If there is ever an award for BL doujin, yumeuta definitely takes the cake! Historical references galore, detailed dialogue and heart-wrenching scenes! It's just, it's just ;______; It fits in with everything so well! ....okay, that was senseless fan ranting, and I'll probably forget about this wishy washy emotion soon but there's no time like the present, I say, and this doujin is awesome!

Cried lots, released lots of endorphine! Today is a good day!

Can't wait for Ace. WAIT. Don't want to read Ace. Don't want to read Ace.

trousers are pantolon, okay?
Not like this is a retraction of anything, but I've been awfully bad at blogging lately and my last post didn't cover everything that I originally set out to say. Editing the previous entry would have chopped up too much raw emotion, and undermined the whole purpose of the entry so bang goes that theory. Unfortunately I left it sounding like a bad case of diatribe on humanity, which isn't what it's about entirely.

Anyway, there are obvious plus points to a copying behaviour. It simply means you like someone enough to incorporate their habits into your own. Simple, subtle and elegant human affection. A worrying argument to this point is that humans are self-absorbed creatures who do this because they want to be noticed, seeing as how the other party is more likely to notice themselves in other people, hence sparking an interest in the beginnings of a relationship. That was a little long-winded but I hope you caught my drift.

Another plus point to intermingling is the synergistic effect. That crackle of energy when two or more different yet similar individuals come together, giving birth to innovations and inventions that are hard to come by when alone.

Um...um...I guess that's it then. There might have been a smarter way to wrap this up but my attention derails like a hijacked train whenever est em is involved.

don't think there's a handle on this one
Y'know you're not much even by your own standards when every little thing that comes up needed to be measured by a friend-o-meter. Dress looking good? I dunno, what would XYZ wear? Uhm, sorry but I don't think Summerland would have fit in with the rest of ABC's to-read list. Well, bugger all that to high-fucking hell. Not all of us are as bad as what I've just described, in fact that was an exaggerated example to bring my point home , but none of us can deny the touch of a friendly influence. That booming sound (silent to us at first, but oh mighty loud to those who know 'the before' ) from the collision of solitary bubbles, the intermingling of air space, the giant cauldron of cultural soup.

Take a sip, it's quite tasty. That's the zest of social butterflies. Tastes like lemons. Fresh, cheek-suckingly sour, with a fleeting aftertaste. This is all purely fictional of course, not that a socially defunct piece like me would understand. But I do like to imagine it.

Of course some people follow other people in an attempt to be polite, sociable even. Gotta hand it to these charlatans. If life wasn't something you were quite born to deal with, then you might as well try and hoodwink it. It's all fine and good while there's still a clear line between lie and sociopath though, but what happens when they blur into each other? What happens when a misogyny pretending to be human ends up realising he's one of them after all? A snivelling, pack-driven, trustless walking talking flesh and blood wrapped in skin and forgery.

Forgery, yes. We're all a bunch of copyycats carving pieces of themselves in other peoples' (of other peoples') block of personality. The first step in becoming a respectable, sociable, working adult is accepting this. Or at least a minimally functioning half-stuck-in-between-teenage-fantasies-and-real-life.

Suck on that.

the otaku rages
Sekaiichi Hatsukoi has been removed off Youtube. the only way i can watch it is by becoming a premium member over at Crunchyroll- which is very the peachy because hey, we support Nakamura Shungiku just as much as any fan. what? no account? then never mind, wait for the licensed DVD! remember to continue supporting the mangaka/studio/whoever-it-is-that-sweated-blood-and-tears-to-release-it.

fuck that shit because i have never seen any licensed anime DVD here in Malaysia. well, actually I did, that one time in Kinokuniya but that's inconsequential to the anime industry here in general.

you can walk into any DVD store here in Malaysia that sells anime and chances are you'll see nothing but bootleg. some have subs ripped from fansubbers, whereas others have fan-fucking-tastically awful subs that butcher the characters name, mix up sentences like sambal belacan in a blender and what's more, still retain that mysterious chinese character that doesn't quite translate to english and since the bootleggers don't really know what to do (nor do they care, pshaaw), they just left the random BE, JII, or misc crap like that in. i don't even know how to begin telling you how badly that irritates me. and how confusing was that sentence?

now i'll have to stomach the horrible subs, horrible video quality, annoying moving little icons (which doesn't make a fake any more legitimate, fucking idiots), all because of the nonexistent local anime rights. don't start on online shopping because i can't do shit like that.

not to mention the US div of Tokyopop is shutting down, hence bye bye Togainu no Chi, bye bye Tactics, bye bye- wait, i think that's all the title i'm following. . . no, there's also Qwan and Demon Flowes. . .oh sheesh. when i first started buying manga, i had always maintained a careful distance between myself and Tokyopop for some unknown reason. oh yea, because my first couple of manga were from Viz and ADV respectively and the sudden outpouring of so many Tokyopop titles on the bookshelves scared me a little. but then ADV collapsed, and the license for Tactics changed hands to Tokyopop so i was forced to support what i hated.

and from then on Tokyopop and I have a (one-sided) love/hate relationship. they made a passable job at translating Tactics at first, even adding in the translation notes at the end like what ADV did, but that eventually dwindled away to jackshit. kinda like Suikoden III and Wild Adapter. at first they-OHMYGODIJUSTREMEMBEREDWILDADAPTER*GAAAASP*

...that's it. i better stop now before it becomes a full blown rant against Stu Levy. it is really very sad that they're closing before they had a chance to improve and gain a solid standing in the manga market, but face it, Tokyopop has always had problems.

ah well. in the end i should focus on graduating and getting myself a credit card so i can finally buy things online and fill my future 2LDK apartment with towering stacks of manga and magazines, litter the floor and any available flat surface with amazingly detailed figurines and mecha, and put my 40'' plasma TV with surround sound and PS3 as the centerpiece of the living room, plus a sofa that can easily be converted into a bed. we won't need food because the convenience store is gonna be within walking distance.

i foresee an interesting future ahead as the useless shut-in dentist who makes money just so she can spend it online. yeah. amazing.

And then I said.................

I am listening to Shining Collection.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFYEA.

The only time when Shindou actually FEELS like a rocker and not some blathering gay idiot.

Oh, and Alissa invited me out to go watch Kitaros' live performance at Genting. At first, I thought she was talking about Gegege no Kitaro but then I remembered about the human-being-Kitaro-who-isn't-a-manga-character. Mmm yeah. I was tempted to accept the offer, won't lie, but Genting is just too far for me.

And there's that whole emotional side of things as well. It's complicated. I should probably clear things up with her first before we go off on any further funfunjoyjoy stuffs. And Alissa, if you're reading this, give me a call, babe ;)

People have been jokingly questioning my sexuality, turning it into some kind of game -___- It's... funny I guess. And tiring -___- Well, I can't exactly blame them considering the nonsense that spouts out of my mouth, and the way I act sometimes. I can honestly say that I'm straight, though.

Now I'm listening to Sleepless Beauty and by God, it's-it's- not as awesome as Shining Collection.

*switches tracks*

Back to whatever nonsense I was on. Admittedly, I don't feel totally comfortable being a girl. I hate having to scrutinise myself in front of the mirror each day and point out every single imperfection there is before coming to terms with it and just simply thank Allah for who I am. My legs are weird, granted, but I've walked using them my entire life and they have never failed me so far. Alhamdulillah. My face is pockmarked, granted, but I imagine my facial epithelium is struggling with it just as much as I am. I'm flat, without a hint of a curve and little feminine traits, but I fit into most clothes fairly easily. Alhamdulillah.

I'm still no Victoria Secret model though. I'm just me. And that's alright. I'm not out to impress any guys or girls out there, but simply myself. I've been thinking about this kind of things lately, so it might have pushed me to dress up a little bit more than usual on Friday. Hahaha, well, it was sort of fun. But I don't think I'll be doing much of that.

But frankly speaking, the next time somebody who has never walked with these legs of mine criticises them just one more time, I'll punch that person in the face. Or better yet, kick them in the crotch. Then we'll see just how cacat they are.

On another note Shindou/Kotani Kinya just took over the mic from Ryuichi/Iceman AND DAMN THAT WAS AWESOME!

Finals in two weeks and I've done jackshit. All I want to do right now is take my sisters' tablet and draw manly man fighting one another while screaming their TB-infested lungs out.

Lights out mofo'.

Inception conception

Sleep is one of the best times of the day. The other times being meals, showers, lazy reading sessions and really-seriously-awesome-deep-REM-sleep. When we sleep, we dream, whether we remember them or not. And in dreams, we let go of logic and just let ourselves be at the mercy of our imagination.

Men have tried to spin their interpretations to dreams, thus pinning them down with worldly reasons. Some believe that it speaks of the future, others believe that it is a manifestation of repressed desires. Or perhaps, dreams are mind projections showing us that this is who we really are. Whatever. I for one am a lot more interested in the unpredictable nature of dreams.

That said, I had a rather awesome dream last night. I usually dream in faded, washed out colours, dull grey being the predominant feel of things, and this time it was no different. I was at a convenience store, desperately looking for the toilet when somehow or other I decided that the refrigerator is a nice place to wait. There was an opened jug of milk on the shelf but little else, and the glass door was covered in droplets of a mixture of grime and water. Needless to say, I didn't stay there long.

When I came out, the toilet was available but a woman with shoulder-length black hair very rudely cut the line and slammed the door shut on me. Now that I look back on it, she was wearing a scarf and a very nice brown coat, ala Parisian. Still, that didn't excuse her for being a jackass and I complained about it to the store manager.

This is the part where the dream starts to become really weird, and awesome at the same time.

The manager was some tall gangly teenager with curly hair and a very odd hat, and he bent down on his knees in front of the toilet door to peep on the woman. Then he said, 'Oh that's not a woman. That's a demon. See, it's shedding it's skin. You can go in now, sir.'

A big, scary, bulky demon with horns and stout legs and muscular arms that only know how to crush and kill. I'm a scaredy-cat, so I quickly vacated my present body and became some sort of omniscient being that watches the unfolding events from a safe distance, ready to wake up in case things got too scary. Then I saw that the person that I was, was not me at all. It was Ranmyaku wearing a very loose pajama kimono, and there was another larger bulky demon right behind him. In that weird omniscient power that you have in dreams, I knew that the second demon was his servant, although their relationship is ambiguous at best. The dream had also turned very vivid on me, and I could see every strand of yellow hair on Ranmyaku's head, the whorls in the timber of the toilet door, the tiles, the store- everything became so rich in colour and amazing.

Ranmyaku however, did not share my joy at this newfound discovery. He was not a morning person, and he badly wanted to pee. At first, he kicked at the toilet door with his foot (Japanese straw sandals!) but when the demon inside didn't give any response, he simply broke it down with sheer force. The demon inside skulked and bulged within the restricted quarters, drool trailing down it's jaws, and it growled angrily at Ranmyaku. That did nothing for him though. In fact, he seemed sleepy and bored. He might have said something to the demon at this point in time, but I can't remember what it was. All I know is that the demon lunged forward at Ranmyaku with a roar.

I'll admit, I got scared. I used the demon-servant as my own protection, and I was silently shouting at Ranmyaku to do something. He did. He pulled out a scythe from the thin air and sliced the demon's head right off. And then he pulled up his kimono robes and peed into the urinals next to carcass just like that.

It was awesome. The sequence of events was weird, certainly, but I love it when Ranmyaku or Khaos or Nich become part of my dream. They always give me a sense of absolute power, that nothing can stop me, and the dream totally becomes mine. It was certainly better than Som's, anyway. That one was just plain weird.

there was a song about peeing
My bladder can't hold more than 150ml of water, or so it seems.

Oh. Found this piece of info on bladder retention. That's good. It is always reassuring to know that one's bladder is normal, and not under mutiny or something weird like that.

And here is a teaser for Bioshock 2. It simply looks good. Especially the way Little Sister's dress moves in the wind, and they way she moved her neck every now and then. And she has short hair that looks totally cute on her. And when the sands rose to form buildings, it was just wow.

Amazon is selling these at 10GBP. I am so getting it.

Aishah left food in her tupperware. It's gonna spoil. Hmm what to do.

I know.

Go pee.

have I mentioned that I hate gacc?
GACC and protocol could shove themselves up an elephant's ass and stay there for the good of eternity. There are a million other things I could be blogging about, from things as tiny as planktons to events as big as the comic fiesta, but it's always the unpleasant things that managed to make themselves the priority. Unpleasant but worth-the-trouble I don't mind, unpleasant but enjoyable I don't mind either, but unpleasant and unpleasant to the max I have a deep disregard for.

And it just so happens that GACC and protocol are the two of them. They're both like bratty brats playing dress up and trying to play pretty. Shit ass fuck.

Schzanne has been acting up with the Airlangga as well. She wants me to present. I wonder if she's asked anybody else to do the same.

This is me being selfish, and realising that doesn't make me feel any better by much. But seriously, I need to take a stand a learn how to say 'no'. It's surprisingly difficult to say out loud, but it will make things easier for me in the long run, for sure.

And now, back too GACC. It's the last day of the holidays and I'm gonna go back to GACC for more fucking work. Yeah, I'm gonna punch something out by the end of the day.

I can't label this under expletives because I've promised. Shit.

actually, mozart made me write this
I've often toyed with the idea of having latent ADHD or minor schizophrenia during the many, many times when attention(and possibly sanity) sputters and leaves me hanging on to the cacophony of voices in my head. They would shout at each other over the one corner of my mind that I can call my own, growing ever larger and threatening to take over all. But I'm not necessarily frightened. Sure, there are bad days, but night always falls at the end of it and the blanket of dark studded with stars make better reflective sessions than Prof Luis'(no matter how kind, informative or frank he might be).

In the end, I would search for the correct clinical diagnosis of ADHD and find out that I am far more fortunate than what the statistics describe. True, my train of thoughts typically run late, some of the carriages are empty, the tracks are awfully bumpy, but take a look at the scenery outside. Forest crowned mountain, azure skies with rainbow stripes, fishes with wings, baseball boys batting away- it's an enchanting sight deserving to be frozen in time and in memory. But the beauty of ideas, of imagination, is that it expands and it grows! The mountain swells up and belches out smoke and lava (it's a volcano!), cats and dogs start falling from the skies (can I hear KER-SPLAT?) and the baseball boys, well, lets keep that one to myself (*tee-hee*).

However, usually, unfortunately, sadly; the train would pull its stop way too soon. Here I am stranded in the middle of nowhere. Here I am tracing the remains of a premature idea.

And the voices in my head would falter to a stop, while my own rises uncontrollably begging and crying for them to return. Ideas and imagination (might these be the names of the uninvited guests?) are drugs potent enough to interfere with the form. How many times have I managed to plant an idea inside myself and let it grow to fruition? Not many. It's a bit impossible for it to literally rain cats and dogs, the yellow child in my head will remain trapped in my head (hopefully so because there are times when the kid scares me a little), and chances are I'm not going to be owning a PS3 anytime soon. But ideas did manage to convince me that there is a purpose for every one of us, that the thorn by my side is secretly my friend with reason, that every cloud has a silver lining, and dentistry is precisely where I'm supposed to be at. That last bit might require one to stretch the imagination by a mile, but hey, if that's what it takes, then who could help it? It's not like I'm lying to myself, not really.

the game at the brink of lunacy
---
There was a yellow child on a rock wearing nothing but a tattered white dress,
and a big smile that showed teeth.

The young man reached out
(with his hand? with his heart?)
under the tall trees bending under the sea breeze,
and wrapped his cloak around those tiny shoulders.

He noticed the burn marks that spread across that small back;
and he saw a pair of snapping jaws that ended just above the shoulder blade,
a malicious eye peeked out from the holes in the dress,
with claws that encircled around the neck promising death.

'That's quite a vicious pet you have on your back there.'
'His name is Daniel. I think he's cute.'

The stench of flesh rotting under the sun rose and fell with the coming of the tide,
and he tentatively peered over the cliff
to greet the sight of the wreckage by the rocky shore.

There was a caravan,
two sturdy work horses
a man,
two women,
and a girl-
all shells bearing pathetic resemblance to their former selves.

'Were you in that accident? Is that how you got Daniel?'
'No, I wasn't. The little girl was, though.'
'Was?What happened?'
'The horses went crazy. They charged full speed towards the cliff and went whoop straight down. But she fell out in between all that racket, and had a bit of a tumble by the tree there. She seemed to be very sad about being left behind. But it's alright now. I pushed her down so that she gets to be with her family again.'

The waves made a loud crash against the cliff,
but all he heard was the roar of blood as his heart hammered loudly in its ribcage,
and all warmth escaped his body.

The image of the little child before him flickered,
but he tried to focus on the mop of yellow hair,
large amber eyes with a curious gaze,
and a Daniel riding on that small back.

Pardon me, but the thoughts in my head are in an incoherent state right now. It's like I have the bridge, but it's hanging in mid-air all by its lonesome self thinking, 'Well, aren't I a handsome bridge. But where do I start and where do I end?'

miyu irino's voice makes me melt
!WARNING!
KINGDOM HEARTS SPOILERS AHEAD

And a rather gay-centric joke, but who cares about that.

---

Dark Riku: Sora. Come to me. Lets have babies.

Sora: Ooooh yeah, I knew you were gonna come around and confess to me eventually.
Riku: You smug bastard.

(Snapshot of their lovemaking. Square Enix censored the raunchy cutscene and tweaked Dark Riku to look like Stitch)

And the product?

DARK SORA! Or Vanitas watev.

He is Square Enixs' way of saying that the relationship between Riku and Sora goes beyond platonic friendship/brotherhood/camaraderie. It's canon, people.

And before I forget.

EID MUBARAK~!

seven rainbow colours for the seven letters in freedom

PAX ET LIBERTAS IN AETERNUM

Hey. Sorry it took me so long, the rain started to come down heavy and I didn't have an umbrella with me. I hope you haven't been waiting long. Mind if I smoke?

So I heard you're gonna be 53 soon. We both know that's bullshit, you've been around far much longer than that, but lets put up with the trivial formalities. For the sake of the children. While we're on that subject, I heard you've been having trouble with the kids. Well, what's new eh? It's always one thing or the other. To tell you the truth, I prefer having the kids throw their tantrum, make some noise, create their own little drama. It makes me feel less guilty because whatever comes after is something they created themselves. I've got no hand in it whatsoever.

Let me tell you the word I've been hearing on the streets lately. Freedom. Freedom rights, free sex, free size, buy 1 free 1...it's got all the kids in a buzz. And from the look of things, your main concern at the moment would be freedom of equality; tearing down the barrier between cultures, races and religion etc. Well, it sounds reasonable enough. But the tally does not match, and the numbers fall short. Nothing adds up.

There's no need to look so nervous. I'm hungry for Pesto Cavatappi, not mortal flesh. Not this time around, anyway.

Besides, the kids aren't interested in a broken present brought up by the fragile past, no, they see an adamantium future and they want it. They're working at it harder than Lucy has ever worked for me. They should learn to be more careful though. One false step and they'll end up like so many before them. But that's what makes it all the more exciting.

You're right; I find this period so enjoyable because I'm not you. Sorry.

Is that the time? Well, can't be helped that you have work to do. See you later.

Oh, and congratulations.

You're 53 now.

sanity is overrated
Will not stay for long. Just wanted to mention a few things on some interesting topics I came across while moving along the Great Informational Technology (or GIT for short).

Sex IS legal. A few aspects of it are made illegal here in Malaysia, but it's general consensus that sexual penetration of little children aged 12 and below (years may vary) is a deplorable act that calls upon immediate annihilation with no mercy or forgiveness. Even if the perpetrator is a grapist.

Everybody is bipolar. Take me for example. I'm a darling Yes-man in front of Chop Suey and Jijik, but take those two some distance away from me and I'll turn to the nearest person next to me and say, 'What a fucking asshole.' Everybody else does this. Don't lie.

  • Chinko manga
Japan and their fetishses will never cease to amaze me. Can you spell AWESUHM?

EDIT: I've provided links except for the chinko manga. You'll have to come up with your own means to figure that one out.

frog-shaped stain

In my humble opinion, anyone who can draw a pre-pubescent boy in underpants and still manage to make him look dead awesome has serious talent. I am not ashamed to admit that I have been stalking Jaryuu Dokuro ever since I laid my eyes on this picture.

Oh, oh, and Yoneda Kou sounds so cute in her afterword ramblings. Take this for example- 'What I really wanted to draw was Deguchi's gingham chequered underpants.' I bet she totally went :B when she wrote that out.

And in the ending for NEG: Gakuen Datenroku, there was a scene where Kaworu was butt-nekkid and was talking to Shinji about some survival crap (or something) and somehow or other that got me terribly excited and I went off saying, 'GLEE~' over at the room called somalia. They were treating like I was an alien. Haha, I don't understand myself either, but I think this abnormality I'm displaying means that I'm returning to normalcy. My kind of normal at the very least.

This post does not mean that nothing has been happening in my life. In fact, too much has been happening, and for on- FUCK THERE'S A GIANT CICAK IN MY ROOM- and anyway, for once I'd like to escape reality and just hide in the security of the darkness that is my mind. The voices in my head have been good.

Elixir of Life
Hasyim should try being a little sweeter, IMO. He can be such a bloody jackass.

On another note, the 2nd RC should seriously inform students about water shortage if they're going to face some damn problems about it. Serious fucking shit. At least, then we could have stored water earlier rather than climbing up to the 4th-fucked-up floor carrying a pail of water and splashing the majority of it on the cement floor along the process.

Ah well, c'est la vie, benim öğrenci, apa boleh buat. . .

Still. That's one morning exercise I could do without.
