This is a double post
Heavy Rain, FUCK YEAH! This pretty much sums up my feelings for the game (at this point in time). Well, except for the last bit.

HEAVY RAIN LINK (because the video is too large and it's screwing up the page...at least it does for my teeny weeny notebook).

Coming up, Final Fantasy XIII review. I'll come up with it as soon as I've cleared the game! Am so close to the finish flag, I can practically taste the final boss!

Does it bring to attention?

It's been rather hectic here in UM due to the annual student council election, and based on the 'illustrious' history that it's always had, UM jacked up security to somewhat rather extreme measures. Or at least, KKTB did.

Gates were locked and manned, and secholians were required to show proof of residency by way of flashing their kad makan at the gate guards. It felt like living in a prison. The situation was even worse for the students whose faculties were closer to the area by PJ gate because they couldn't use the shortcut at the engineering faculty, and had to make a huge turn around KKTB to use the back entrance. Such a bloody unnecessary hassle, all because of certain parties who couldn't imagine controlling themselves come election time. Normally, such passion would move me to sympathise with the wronged, but none of their cause seemed worthy enough for all that trouble, which aggravated the hate, and made all the reckless action seem all the more stupid.

I wouldn't be going into details about the elections, though, just here to say that it's finished safely. What else am I supposed to say? The whole thing is entangled in political scandal, choking itself in its diseased state. Although if it didn't, I suppose it wouldn't be called the elections.

I'm getting bored of typing out 'elections', 'elections', as if the gossiping weren't enough to go by. From now on, I re-christen it as the Big UM Sin. BUMS for short.

And while everybody else was busy preparing for BUMS, UM got a huge ass-wipe from Mother Nature. A freak storm hit us last Thursday evening, although I didn't experience it first-hand because of a certain KLCC outing. We came back greeted by uprooted trees and damaged property, but Som and Aliaa had the further rotten luck to coming back to a swamped room. It was pretty scary to be in that sort of situation, and very humbling at the same time. On second thought, if I had managed to finish my optech and endodontic projects in time, I wouldn't have to be there at all.

Ayiyiyi.

Exams are over. The big one is coming soon.

Also, found good things. Some of them surprisingly good.

Promotional poster of Taare Zameen Par, image ripped off from Wikipedia :)

Catch-22 by Joseph Keller, a hilariously mind-boggling read.
